Tadpoles Music & Movement is an early childhood music & movement experience for nursery and preschool aged children and their parent or special adult in their life. The goal of our Tadpoles class is to spread the joy of music to young learners and target the requisite skills they need for success in their earliest years and into kindergarten. We carefully select the music and activities to appeal to a diverse group of learners. This class is for ages 0-4 years old with an adult.
A child in Tadpoles Music & Movement will:
-Build kindergarten readiness skills.
-Enhance language development.
-Practice basic rhythmic structures using a variety of instruments.
-Develop gross motor skills through body movement.
-Sing folk and traditional songs from around the world in unison with the group.
-Engage in group cooperation.
WHAT TO BRING:
Tadpoles participants will sit in a circle on the ground and participate in movement to various songs and activities. Small floor cushions are provided, and adults who would like additional back support are advised to bring an extra cushion from home.
