St. Johns Women's Choir

St. Johns Women’s Choir is a yearlong vocal ensemble dedicated to providing a safe and empowering musical experience for women who love to sing. The ensemble is open to women ages 16 yrs+. Emphasis is placed on creating beautiful music and building strong and lasting bonds with other female singers in the community. Through gently structured rehearsals, singers and conductor collaborate to create art through song. Registration for this ensemble includes a featured performance at each end-of-term showcase, as well as other performance opportunities in the community.

A singer in St. Johns Women’s Choir will:

• Be engaged with her community through ensemble and song.
• Perform beautiful and compelling music.
• Learn works by contemporary female artists across genres.
• Participate in collaborative processes.
• Improve her music literacy and musical development.
• Find healing through ensemble and song.
