Summer Sings is a drop-in style summer singing circle for singers at every level, ages 16 yrs+. Each week, the group will learn an arrangement of a new song, incorporating aspects of harmonization, music-reading, and vocal health and technique. Songs will be chosen by the instructor, and may include a range of genres, such as traditionals, folk, pop, showtunes, non-western (world) music, and standards from various eras. Lyric sheets and sheet music will be provided when applicable.
Tuition for this class is based on a sliding, pay-what-you-can scale, with a suggested donation of $10/person each class.
