Instructor: Jonah Butman
Introductory class focused on learning the instruments, getting a taste of many different types of marimba songs. The goal of this class will be to play as many marimba songs as possible, give students a chance to try every instrument and get introduced to different rhythms and sounds of the marimba. We will focus on Shona (traditional Zimbabwean) music, as well as modern music genres such as Reggae, pop, classical, and others.
